Farmhouse, now house. C18, remodelled c.1830. Coursed limestone rubble,
limestone ashlar dressings, left side wall in early C19 Flemish stretcher band
brick with flared headers; stone slate roof; brick stacks. L-plan: 3 units to
front with wing to rear left. Neo-Tudor style to remodelled front of c.1830. Two
storeys, 4-window range. Chamfered stone architrave to C20 door with overlight
and floating cornice. Hood mould and chamfered architrave to 4-pane sash over
door. Similar details to other windows which each have two 4-pane sashes divided
by central chamfered mullion. Early C20 raking dormers. Roof is hipped to left
and gabled to right; ridge stack to left, gable end stack to right. Left side
wall has late C19 canted bay with sashes and scattered fenestration including
two leaded casements. Segmental brick arch over 6-pane sash to rear of main
block. To rear right is mid C19 brewhouse of brick with Welsh slate roof and one
3-light leaded casement. Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
Early C19 wall and railings attached to front.
