Row of 3 cottages, now house and shop. C17, remodelled early C18. Originally
timber-framed. Clad in early C18 partly glazed Flemish bond brick with orange
brick quoins and dressings; old tile roof; glazed and red brick stacks. 4-unit
plan. 2 storeys and attic; 6-window range. Timber lintels and concrete lintel to
No.27 over C20 doors. Timber lintel and concrete lintel over C20 windows to
Nos.23 and 25; segmental arches over C20 casement and mid C19 sash to No.27
(right). Segmental arches over C20 first-floor casements. Central raking dormer
with C20 casement and late C19 gabled dormer to left. Roof gabled to left,
half-hipped to right; large ridge stacks. C18 two-light casement in right gable
wall. Interior: No.29 (right) has early C18 six-panelled door, chamfered and
stopped beams throughout and collar-truss roof. Jowled post with mortice for
arch-brace to rear.
