16/10/84 NE of Truelock's Farmhouse


Barn and stable. Early C18. Weatherboarding, some probably C18, over timber
frame on brick plinth, asbestos sheet roof. 4-bay plan with rear aisle.
Half-hipped roof. Interior: posts braced to wall plates and tie beams. 4-bay
queen-post roof with clasped purlins. Subsidiary features: Stable and loft
attached to front right of coursed limestone rubble with weatherboarding over
timber-framed upper floor, with half-hipped old tile roof: C18 strap hinges to
loft door.
