House, now shops. Early/mid C17. Square timber framing, much restored mid C20,
with herringbone brick panels; stone slate roof; brick stack. 2-unit plan. 3
storeys; 3-window range. C20 shop fronts. Jettied first and second floors with
brattishing and restored brackets. C20 three- and 2-light cross windows;
ovolo-moulded mullioned lights flank first-floor windows. Gabled roof; ridge
stack with oversailing courses. Interior: Chamfered and stopped beams. First
floor and attic not inspected but likely to be of interest.
