Eagles Close Almshouses


Well-head. Dated 1867. Orange brick; limestone ashlar engaged angle columns and
cross-gabled roof with moulded ridge; datestone 1867 set over octagonal stone
with cast-iron pipe set in raised quatrefoil relief. Stone water trough beneath
pipe; and wheel in right side wall. Included for group value.
