Stable block. Mid C18. Flared Flemish bond brick with red brick quoins and
dressings; old tile roof. Crescent-shaped plan with central entry. 2-storey
entry has elliptical arch with limestone-coral key and impost blocks; gauged
brick flat arch over window above; dentilled eaves; hipped roof. One-storey
wings each side of entry have 2 adjoining semi-circular arches with projecting
brick impost courses nearest entry, two lunettes flanking C20 doors; dentilled
eaves and gabled roof swept round to plain gable walls, one to left having
inserted window; dovecote with brick nesting holes in gabled projection to left
of entry. Interior: Collar-truss roof, mostly with original split rafters.
