House, now public house. Early C18. Mid C20 mock timber-framing, C18 Flemish
bond brick to base and rear; old tile roof; brick stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys;
2-window range. All doors and windows are mid C20 in C16 style. Through-passage
to left. Gabled roof; ridge stack to left. Timber-framed outshut to rear left
adjoins early C18 two-storey, 2-window range of English bond brick with
dentilled eaves, gabled old tile roof and brick gable end stacks; early C19
six-panelled door and C18 two-light casement on left side wall. Interior: First
floor has C18 plank doors. Original queen-post roof with clasped purlins rebuilt
in C20. Chamfered beams in rear wing (roof not inspected).
