House, originally 2 cottages. Early/mid C17. Square timber framing with arch
braces and brick infill; thatch roof; brick stacks, coursed limestone rubble
base to left. 2-unit plan. 2 storeys; 3-window range. C20 door and casements.
First floor has canted bay windows supported on carved brackets. Gabled roof;
gable-end external stacks, that to left has bread oven projection. One-storey
wash-house in similar materials with hipped roof to right of front. Interior not
inspected but likely to be of interest.
