Includes that part formerly separately listed as No.77, The Causeway.
House. Probably mid C16, with later alterations. Stone rubble plinth to centre;
large timber-framing with paitned brick infill; old plain-tile roof; massive
stone coursed rubble lateral stack to right of centre, with 2 diagonally brick
flues, 2-storey, 3-bay range. 4-panel door to right of centre with flat hood.
Irregular fenestration of casements, except 2-storey octagonal bay window to
left of centre, with wood mullion and transom windows and gabled roof.
Cross-gable to left with braced queen-post reef truss. Interior not inspected
but likely to be of interest.
