The'description should be amended to read:-
House. C.1600. Cross wing to a hall house which is now No.18 in
separate ownership. Roughcast, over stone rubble to ground floor and
brick and timber framed above. Gable fronted with tiled roof and C1600
brick chimneystack. Coved cornice above 1st floor window 2 storeys 1
window. Casement to first floor and sliding sash to ground floor. C20
plank door. Deep plinth. S-shaped iron tie to side elevation. Ground
floor has large open fireplace with oak lintel and 2 seats, chamfered
spine beam with lambs tongue stops similar moulded floor joists. 1st
floor has bedroom with smaller brick angled fireplace with chamfered
oak bressumer above. Internal partition wall has curved braces and
wattle and daub construction. Queenpost roof with collar beam, clasped
purlins and windbraces.

House. Probably C16. Painted plinth to left; roughcast, probably on stone rubble
to ground floor and on timber-framing to first floor; old plain-tile roof; brick
end stack to right, ridge stack to left of centre. Probably former hall-house
plan. 2-storey, 2-bay range with 2-storey cross-wing to left. Plank doors to
centre, and to left of cross-wing. 2-light casement to right. Horizontal sash to
right of cross-wing, 2-light casements to first floor. Cross-gable to left.
Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
