10/11/52 including ironwork gates*
GV II
Gatepiers and gates. C18. Stone. Rectangular with side pilasters and
scrolls, cornice and ball finials. W ball renewed. The S sides of the
piers have shell headed niches arranged as seats with squared jambs and
abaci. Good C19 ironwork gates between the piers and side walls with coping
and taxi secondary entrances on either side, that on the left-hand side
blocked. * (formerly listed as "Remains of Coleshill House including the
great gatepiers, two pairs of gatepiers on the drive and pair of gatepiers
at yard entrance")
