3/18 No 9 (Fruit Centre)

Former Temperance Hotel, now shop. Circa 1730 of incised cement render with a
gabled slate roof and dressed stone copings. Three storeys and attic, 3 bays
with banded quoins, blocked dressings and large keystones, those on the first
floor linked by a band. Two pedimented, 4-pane dormers, recessed 12-pane sashes
to upper 2 floors. Late C19 projecting shop front to ground floor with flanking
circa 1730 door surrounds having eared architraves, heavy tripartite keystones
and pulvinated friezes.
