House. Early C19. Incised and colourwashed render with a slate roof hipped to
right and 2 brick stacks, 1 central brick stack on ridge. Three storeys of one
build. Each house has a canted bay which rises through the 3 floors to the deeply
projecting eaves cornice set on shaped brackets. Large pane sashes to the bays.
No 18 has a C20 door in a moulded wood doorcase, No 20 has a door with 6 flush
panels, a patterned rectangular fanlight and moulded case. Interior: the
mouldings of the doorcase echoed on one of the door architraves and to 3 very
good contemporary fireplaces. Roof structure signed and dated by carpenter (not
visible at time of survey). Datestone with 1825 at rear.
