Farmhouse. Dated "IW/1729". Part freestone front, slate roof, end chimneys, the
right-hand one with brick top, the left-hand one ashlar. Lower projecting kitchen
wing at right angles with bread-oven projection and end chimneys, the inner one
gabled. The main part is 2 storeys, 3 bays. Two windows to right-hand part,
segment-headed with keys, C20 casements, smaller on ground floor, central segment-
headed doorway with key.
Interior: centre room has spine beam and joists with stop chamfers; the right-hand
room has stairs beside fireplace in which is a very small baking chamber with a
wooden floor (?). The left-hand part (behind the kitchen projection) was probably a
dairy.
