Two cottages. Late C17 or early C18. Coursed rubble. No 18 freestone front,
Cotswold stone roof with common ridge; 3 corniced ashlar chimneys, the middle one
original. Two storeys and attic, 3 gabled dormers. No 17 has one range of cham-
fered mullion windows in rebated surrounds and with drips and a plain window to
left-hand over doorway, ledged door with timber lintel. No 18 has 5 windows, narrow
cross mullioned casements, mostly C19. Central doorway with gabled wooden hood on
brackets and wide 2-panel nail-studded door.
Interior of No 18: well staircase with turned medium heavy balusters on straight
string, square newels - about 1680-90.
