House. Mid C17. Rubble with Cotswold stone roof, end chimneys. Two storeys,
2 windows, hollow chamfer mullion type in rebated surrounds, drips to ground floor.
Central ledged door. (Imported) bullseye stair window to left, l½-storey extension
beyond. To rear off-centre doorway with chamfered wooden lintel.
Good interior: both ground floor rooms have spine beams with carved stops and
chamfered joists; chamfered doorway to left-hand room, inglenook to right-hand room
with staff mould on jambs and wooden lintel; spiral stairs. Rere-beams to windows
with carved stop chamfers; imported panelled shutters. Roof structure, retains
windbraces to lower purlins (butt-purlin roof).
