House. Late C18. Marlstone rubble with wooden lintels and ashlar quoins;
Welsh-slate roof with brick stacks. 3-unit lobby-entry plan with service ranges.
2 storeys. 3-window front has a plank door in a C19 ashlar porch, to left of
centre, with 2-light casements to right and 3-light to left, all with leaded
glazing. Roof has stack in line with doorway and a gable stack to left. House
now extends 2 bays to left, in converted outbuildings, and one bay to right in a
lower dairy range. Interior: open fireplace with bread oven. Included for group
value.
