14/145 Manor Cottage


House. C17/early C18. Limestone and marlstone rubble with wooden lintels;
concrete plain-tile roof with C20 brick stacks. 3-unit plan, probably with cross
passage. One storey plus attic. Front has a plant: door to left of centre, a
3-light casement and 2 small windows to right, and a 2-light casement plus a
small window to left; first floor has 2 rebuilt half dormers. Roof has stacks to
left gable and just to right of the entrance. Interior not inspected but likely
to have a large stack backing onto passage. Included for group value.
