Farmhouse, now house. Late C17. Squared coursed maristone rubble with some
ashlar dressings; Stonesfield-slate and concrete plain-tile roofs with ashlar
gable stacks. L-plan. 2 storeys plus attic. Front has single-storey wing
projecting from the left with a flat-arched entrance in the gable wall. Right
wall of wing has 2 renewed cross windows and a further entrance, near the angle,
with a 6-panel door. All have stone flat arches and projecting keyblocks. Main
range has blocked stair windows, the lower a 2-light stone-mullioned window and,
to extreme right, a blocked doorway, with chamfered surround, and a renewed
cross window at first floor. All gables have stone parapets but main range
continued to right. Rear has a similar blocked doorway, originally opposite that
at the front, and traces of a 4-window arrangement, now mostly blocked. Interior
not inspected.
