GV II

Farmhouse. Late C17/early C18. Coursed squared marlstone; Welsh-slate roof with
brick and limestone-ashlar stacks. L-plan with added ranges. 2 storeys plus
attic. Front is the gable wall of the main range, plus a short wing to right,
further extended by a lower range, with a C20 range projecting to extreme right.
Gable wall has aligned leaded casements of 4, 3 and 2 lights, all under flat
arches, and has a 2-light stone-mullioned cellar window. Short wing has a
2-light casement above the flat-arched former doorway, now a window, plus a
rounded bread-oven projection immediately to the right. Left side of main range
has further flat-arched windows with renewed casements. Main range has gable
parapets with projecting kneelers; wing has an ashlar gable stack. Interior not
inspected.
