Schoolroom and small house. Schoolroom 1820; house C18, extended C19. Coursed
squared marlstone; Welsh-slate roof with ashlar and brick stacks. House: 2-unit
plan, extended to 3 units. 2-storey, 3-window front has doorway with C20 porch
between the earlier bays, and has 2-light casements, including added bay to
left. Stacks, flanking earlier bays, have ashlar plinths. Single-storey
schoolroom, linking house to Church of St. James (q.v.), has a large 3-light
casement and a doorway now covered by a large glazed porch. Interiors not
inspected. Included for group value.
