9/25 West End Farmhouse

GV II

Farmhouse, now house. Late C17/early C18 with later C18 extension. Coursed
limestone rubble; gabled concrete tile roof; brick right end stack. L-plan with
rear right wing. 2 storeys; 3-window range. Flat stone arch over blocked door
with C20 two-light casement flanked by timber lintels over C20 casements. Rear
wing of one storey and attic has C20 porch and stone end stack: 2-storey bay to
rear has end stack of stone, finished in brick, with bread oven. Interior:
chamfered beam, and winder stairs from first floor to attic in front range.
Collar-truss roof with butt purlins to rear: remodelled open fireplaces.
