Two cottages. Early/mid C18, with later C18 extension to right; C20 extension.
Coursed limestone rubble; gabled thatch roof: brick ridge (originally end)
stacks. 4-unit plan. One storey and attic; 4-window range. C20 door and porch to
left. Timber lintels over C20 two-light casements; 3 similar C20 half-dormer
casements; C20 bay with door to right, under same roof. Interior: No.2, to left,
has plain and chamfered beams and winder stairs; 2-bay butt-purlin roof with
exposed thatching rods. Chapel Hill Cottage not inspected.
