Cottage. Late C16/early C17. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate roof;
stone ridge stack and right end stack. 3-unit through-passage plan. One storey
and attic; 2-window range. Timber lintels over C19 plank door with gabled hood,
and over late C19 two-light late C19 gabled half dormers. Chamfered timber
lintel over plank door to rear; mid C19 outshut to rear left. Interior:
stone-flag floor in passage. Stop-chamfered beams, with stop-chamfered joists in
central room. C17 ribbed doors, including one opening to winder stairs left of
passage. Plank cupboard doors with H-L hinges to blocked window opening in front
wall. First floor not inspected but likely to be of interest.
