Two houses. Mid C17 with later C17 cottage (No.31) to left; C20 alterations.
No.29 of coursed limestone rubble; gabled thatch roof: stone end stacks.
One-unit plan. One storey and attic; 2-window range. C20 timber lintel over C20
window, and 12n porch to left; C20 half-dormer casements. One leaded-light
window with diamond panes to rear. Interior: chamfered beam with rolled stop,
and open fireplace with similar bressumer and adjoining winder stairs. No.31 to
left: of similar materials with stone end stack. 2-unit plan. One storey and
attic; 2-window range. C20 door and porch. Timber lintels over C20 casements.
C18 bay to left, with C20 entry, rebuilt in C20, Interior: chamfered beams, and
part of butt-purlin roof. Included for group value.
