8/111 Twelve Acre Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Probably C17; remodelled in late C18; mid C19 alterations and right
block. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate roof; brick ridge and end
stacks. L-plan with rear left wing. 2 storeys; 5-window range. Timber lintel
over mid C19 four-panelled door with trellised porch, to left of mid C19
extension which has timber lintel and hood mould over 3-light sashes. Timber
lintels and hood mould over similar sashes to left, except flat stone arch and
mid C19 two-light window in left bay; C17 two-light stone-mullioned casement
windows. Interior and rear not inspected but likely to be of interest.
