GV II

House. c.1720 with c.1770 extension to left and to rear. Limestone, squared to
left and of coursed rubble to right; gabled stone slate roof; brick left end and
rear lateral stacks. Central-staircase plan. Two storeys and attic; 5-window
range. Late C18 scrolled brackets to flat hood above late C18 sill-panelled door
with Gothick fanlight. To left of door, 6-pane sashes set in raised and keyed
architraves; raised storey band. Flat stone arches and timber lintels over
6-vane sashes to right. Three roof dormers with C20 casements. Two sashes set in
late C18 raised architraves to rear. Late C18 two-storey wing to rear right of
limestone rubble with gabled Welsh slate roof and brick end stack; 6-pane sash
and 3-light leaded casement; 4-light leaded casement in contemporary rear
outshut. Interior: dog-leg with landing staircase, with turned balusters set on
closed string. Partial inspection only.
