House, now public house. Mid C18; C19 and C20 alterations. Colourwashed
limestone rubble with stucco front; gabled stone slate roof; right-end stacks of
stone finished in brick: C19 brick left-end stack. Plan-form unclear. 2 storeys
and attic; 4-window range. Early C19 cast-iron columns support flat hood over
C20 double-doors with overlight. Paired horned sashes to right and late C19
square bay window with horned sashes to left, three C18 six-pane sashes above.
Moulded wood cornice. 2 roof dormers. C20 extension to rear. Interior: first
floor not inspected.
