11/209 Church Farmhouse


Farmhouse. Late C17/early C18, with C18 extension and refronted in early C19.
Coursed limestone rubble; hipped Welsh slate roof; stone finished in brick ridge
stack. Double-depth plan extended to L-plan with rear right wing. storeys;
symmetrical 3-window range. Timber lintel over C19 four-panelled door with
overlight. Timber lintels over 6- above 8-pane sashes. Similar sashes in side
walls. Later C18 two-storey bay to rear with end stack of stone finished in
brick and C19 doorway: C17 one-storey block to rear substantially rebuilt in
early C19. Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
