Farmhouse, now public house. Early C17, C18 front wings and C20 rear wing and
alterations. Coursed limestone rubble with exposed collar trusses at gable ends
of side wings; half-hipped thatch roof; brick ridge and end stacks. U-plan with
front wings. one storey and attic; one-window range front has timber lintels
over C20 plank door and one C18 three-light leaded casement; gabled half-dormer
with C20 three-light casment. Inner side walls of projecting wings have C20 door
and C20 bay window. Right side wall has C18 two-light leaded casement and
bread-oven projection. Gable end of early C17 range to rear of left side wall
has label moulds over 3- and 4-light chamfered stone-mullioned windows. C20.
extension of similar materials to rear. Interior not inspected but likely to be
of interest.
