20/317 Nicholl's Farmhouse

Farmhouse. Early C18. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled concrete tile roof; brick
left end stack and external right end stack of stone finished in brick. 2-unit
plan. 2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. Timber lintel over C20 door set in
C18 heavy pegged frame to right. Timber lintels over C19 two- and 3-light
altered casements; C20 casements in gabled roof dormers. One-storey range to
right of similar materials with half-hipped roof. Interior not inspected but
likely to be of interest. Noted as having chamfered beams and re-used or altered
upper cruck with saddled apex and through purlins.
