Shown on Ordnance Survey map as Letter Box Cottage and Devonia.
House. C17 with later alterations. Timber-framed with rendered and wattle and
daub infill, set on limestone rubble plinth; left bay clad in coursed limestone
rubble; gabled thatch roof; brick left end stack. 2-unit plan. One storey and
attic; 2-window range. C20 two-light casement to right, and timber lintels over
late C19 two-light casement and bread oven projection; 2-light dormer casements.
Plank door in chamfered wood architrave to rear. Entry in C20 extension to
right. Interior not inspected but likely to be of interest.
