12/1 The Cottage


Cottage. Late C17. Coursed limestone rubble with stone slate roof. Two-unit
baffle-entry plan. Two storeys. Central brick ridge stack and integral stone end
stack to left with C20 brick top. Two-window front; 2- and 3-light wooden
casements with chamfered wooden lintels. Central boarded door with chamfered
wooden lintel with late C19 or C20 lean-to porch. Interior not inspected.
