GV II

Barn. Early to mid-C18. Coursed limestone rubble with stone dressings. Stone
slate roof. Five bays. Two tiers of square vent holes. Central opposed cart
entrances; gabled porch to front with pair of large boarded doors with wooden
lintels. Boarded door in left-hand side of porch with angled stone-slated
lean-to porch. Lean-to cowhouses to right of front porch and to right-hand gable
end. Lintel of rear cart entrance is a raised ceiling beam (see mortices for
joists). Interior: collar-and-tie-beam trusses and pairs of purlins.
