House and shop. Late C17; refronted c.1800. Coursed limestone rubble: early C19
stucco front, with raised quoins. Gabled concrete tile roof; left end stack of
stone finished in bricks 3-unit through-passage plan. 2 storeys and attic;
6-window range. Early C19 beaded 6-panelled door set in beaded stone architrave
with bracketed open pediment. Early C20 shop front and door to left. Early C19
eight-pane sashes set in raised eared architraves. Gabled roof dormer with C20
casement. Rear: C18 two-storey ranges to left, of similar materials, include
2-window range with datestone 1745 and late C18 2-bay range to rear. Interior:
large 6-panelled door to rear of through-passage. Dog-leg with landing staircase
with turned balusters is early C18 but probably reset and rebuilt c.1800. Room
to right has c.1800 panelled dado. Cased beams; chamfered beams on first floor;
collar-truss roof with butt purlins.
