House. Mid C17; front dated 1859. Coursed limestone rubble, with squared and
coursed stone to front; stone-coped gabled stone slate roof: stone end stacks.
Double-depth plan. Mid C19 Jacobean-style front. 2 storeys and attic: 3-window
range includes gabled bay to right. Central ribbed door set in pointed chamfered
doorway: raised architrave has shaped gable with quatrefoil in tympanum. Flat
stone arches over plate-glass sashes: canted bay window to right. Shaped gables
to right gable and to half-dormer on left. Double-gabled rear elevation has hood
moulds over C17 three-light cavetto-moulded stone-mullioned windows, former
stair-light and similar mid C19 two-light window. C20 one-storey extension to
rear. Interior: mid C19 features, including stairs with cast-iron balustrade.
