House. C17: remodelled mid C18. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate
roof; brick rear stack. 2-unit through-passage plan. 2 storeys and attic;
symmetrical 3-window range. Rendered lintels with dripcourses above C20
sill-panelled door and mid/late C19 three-light casements; 2 gabled roof dormers
with mid/late C19 two-light casements. C17 four-light wood diamond-mullioned
window to rear. Interior: timber framing in passage. Room to left has mid C18
panelled dado, and stone lintel over fireplace. C17 plank doors, stop-chamfered
beams and quarter-turn stairs. 4-bay collar-truss roof with butt purlins.
Remodelled C18 range (18A, 18B) to rear is attached to mid C18 cottage (18C),
enclosing rear courtyard: both of similar materials, with C20 doors and windows;
18C has brick pointed-arched blocked doorway. Subsidiary features: tall,
limestone rubble, stone-coped wall extends approximately 35 metres to rear,
