22/92 Grass Ground Cottage
House. Mid/late C17. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate roof; end
stacks of stone finished in brick 2-unit rear outshut plan. 2 storeys; 3-window
range. Old timber lintel over C20 door. C20 timber lintels over C20 windows.
Bread oven projection to right. Service range to rear left remodelled in C20.
Interior: chamfered beams; room to left has quartered stop-chamfered beams.
Winder stairs adjoining stacks; C17 plank door to attic stairs on left; 3-bay
collar-truss roof with butt purlins; rear range has older principles with
trenching for through-purlins.
