- II
Two houses. Early C18; house to left remodelled c.1830. Coursed limestone
rubble; gabled stone slate roof; C19 brick ridge and end stacks. Two 2-unit
plans. 2 storeys and attic. 2-window range Ivydene to left has timber lintels
over central C20 door with gabled hood and over C19 eight-pane sashes. 2-window
range to right, has timber lintels over C19 plank door set in heavy pegged
frame, and C19 three-light casements and ground-floor cross casements. Gabled
roof dormers. Interior: Ivydene has winder stairs adjoining stack and
collar-truss roof with butt purlins. Greenside not inspected but likely to be of
interest.
