Farmhouse, now house. Early C17, with late C17/early C18 extension to rear.
Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate roof; stone end stack. 2-unit plan.
2 storeys and attic; 2-window range. Timber lintels over C20 casement set in
blocked door and late C19 and C20 casements; C17 wood diamond mullions to
first-floor window on right. Late C19 gabled roof dormer. Late C17/early C18
rear wing of similar materials. C19 service range to right, of similar
materials. C20 door in remodelled former barn range to left. Interior: room to
right has lateral timber-framed partition; central transverse timber-framed
partition; room on left has winder stairs adjoining stack with chamfered
bressumer over open fireplace. Heavy pegged frame doorway to rear room with
similar fireplace. Stone-flag floors and butt-purlin roofs.
