Farmhouse, now house. Late C17, extended in C18 and early C19. Coursed limestone
rubble; gabled stone slate roof; early C19 block to right has stone end stacks;
brick end and ridge stacks to C17 central block. 2-unit plan with central
through-passage (now blocked), extended to sides and rear. Central block of
2-storey, 2-window range has C19 keyed stone lintels over C20 door, early C19
eight-pane sashes and canted bay window with sashes. Early C19 two-storey bay to
right has stone lintels over early C19 eight-pane sashes; similar gabled block
to rear. Mid C18 two-storey rear block of similar materials with brick end stack
and adjoining early C19 stair-well to rear of central block. Mid/late C18
service range of similar materials to left, has gabled half dormers and steps to
former granary on left. Interior: early C19 fireplace to right. Central block
has stop-chamfered beams and stop-chamfered doorframe to centre;. stop-chamfered
bressumer over open fireplace to right; old plank door to winder stairs on left.
Collar-truss roof with butt purlins.
