Farmhouse, now house. Mid/late C16, with substantial C17 and early C18
alterations; wing on left, probably early C18, altered and possibly truncated in
1860s. Coursed limestone rubble; gabled stone slate roofs; C17 end stacks of
stone finished in brick to right, and brick end stack to left. L-plan, with wing
attached to left of older range. Of 2 storeys, with attic storey to left;
3-window range. C20 door adjoins right wing: C20 porch and verandah. Timber
lintels over C19 eight-pane sashes and mid C19 French window to left. 2-storey
right side wall has C19 casements. C19 service extension to rear. Interior:
range to right has very thick walls, with C16 blacked pointed-1089arched doorway
on first floor to left and some C17 stop-chamfered beams and collar trusses with
butt purlins. Mid C19 straight-flight staircase.
