GV II
House. C15; remodelled in early C17. Cruck-framed. Coursed limestone rubble;
hipped thatch roof; ridge stack of stone finished in C20 brick. One storey and
attic; 3-window range. Timber lintel over C20 door with C20 porch. Timber
lintels over C20 casements; C20 gabled dormers. C20 extension (built 1975-80) to
left. Interior: room to left has stop-chamfered beam with flat-laid joists. Two
full crucks, one to right retaining collar, to right: inserted stack has
chamfered bressumer over open fireplace with bread oven.
