Lodge. c.1840. Squared and coursed ironstone; gabled stone slate roofs with ball
finials to stone coping: stone ridge stack finished in round flues. T-plan with
rear wing. Tudor Revival style. One storey; 2-window range. Gabled porch has
hood mould over 4-centred moulded doorway with studded door. Hood mould over
hollow-moulded stone-mullioned and arch-headed 2-light window. Similar windows
to canted bay in right gable and to rear wing.
(Rousham Park is included in the H.B.M.C. Register of Parks and Gardens at Grade
I)
