Statue. 1701. Signed by John van Nost. Lead statue of Pan stands on panelled
limestone pedestal with moulded plinth and cornice. Part of the landscape
gardens laid out by William Kent between 1733 and 1740.

I; Buildings of England: Oxfordshire; p745)
