Boat house. c.1733-40, by William Kent. Squared and coursed limestone with
ashlar voussoirs to semi-circular arch. Built into hillside, with barrel-vaulted
interior. Part of the landscape gardens laid out by William Kent betweeen 1733
and 1740.
