2 cottages. No.12 on left is dated 1755. No.10 was much altered mid/late C20.
Limestone rubble. Stone slate roof; brick ridge and end stacks. Each is a 2-unit
plan. 2 storeys; each is a 2-window range. No.12 has entrance to rear. C19 two
and 3-light casements with horizontal glazing bar, and C20 top-hung window on
right to ground floor. Painted wood lintels. Datestone has initials WM. Small
one-storey range set back on left. Interior has open fireplace with bread oven.
0gee-stop-chamfered ceiling beam. No.12 has C20 door and metal windows in
enlarged openings. Included for group value.
