Two houses, now house and shop. Early C19, with late C17 wing to rear and late
C16/early C17 house attached to rear. Coursed limestone rubble; stucco front.
Gabled Welsh slate roof with concrete tiles to rear; brick end stacks. L-plan
with rear right wing. 3 storeys; 3-window range. Late C19 shop front with square
bay windows flanking late C19 half-glazed door; late C18 six-panelled door with
overlight to left. Keyed stone lintels over 6-pane sashes, with glazing bars
removed on lower windows. Fluted cornice with paterae. Late C17 two-storey wing
to rear is attached to late C16/early C17 block, of limestone rubble with gabled
corrugated iron roof and stone end stack; of 2-unit plan and 2 storeys, with
first-floor 3- and 2-light ovolo-moulded wood-mullioned windows. Interior: early
C19 dog-leg with winders staircase to rear left. C17 rear wing has chamfered
beams, and mid C18 doorway with dentilled cornice on ground floor. Late C16
building to rear has scroIled bracket supporting ground floor beam, late C16
winder stairs and moulded stone arched fireplace, and 2 reset small C13 lancets
to left.
