7/4 Rose Cottage and Millbrook


2 houses. Probably early/mid C18. Coursed limestone rubble with some squared
dressings; Welsh-slate roof with rubble stacks. Probable central-stair plans in
2 builds forming a single range. 2 storeys plus attic. Symmetrical 3-window
front of Millbrook, to right, is earlier and has C19 sashes: of 12 panes at
first floor but with margin lights at ground floor. Rose Cottage is similar but
is not symmetrical. Both have doorways in the middle bay, flat arches to all
openings, and steep-pitched roofs with 2 gabled roof dormers. Interiors not
