House and converted barn. Late 17/early C18, extended mid/late C19; barn
probably C18, converted C20. Coursed squared limestone rubble with wooden
lintels; artificial stone-slate roofs with stone gable stacks. 3-unit plan,
extended and linked to 5-bay barn. 2 storeys plus attic. 3-window road front of
earlier range retains mostly tall leaded casements with shorter iron opening
lights. Later 2-window section to right has sashes plus a canted bay window.
Barn section to right has a blocked entry to right of centre. Steep-pitched
roofs have gable parapets, and the left gable of the earlier range shows
evidence of an steeper roof line. Rear, which contains present main entrance, is
partly obscured by small C20 additions. Barn now forms part of house. Interior
not inspected.
